The heat press featured in this video is the H1 Mini Heat Press — compact, portable, and perfect for detailed DIY projects on wood and other surfaces.

For this coaster project, we used two different types of vinyl:
• The main leopard-print pattern was applied using heat transfer vinyl (HTV), which requires heat from the Mini Heat Press to bond permanently.
• The second-layer name design was created with adhesive vinyl — no heat needed. Instead, we used vinyl transfer tape to lift and position the design onto the coaster.

Mix and match techniques like this to create layered, professional-looking custom coasters in no time.
