Print-Then-Cut Issue: Device Cannot Read Registration Mark
If the device cannot read the Registration Mark during Print-Then-Cut, it will stop working. Possible reasons include:
Material Issues
-
Improper Material Position: Ensure the material is aligned to the top-left corner of the cutting mat. Use a squeegee or roller to create a flat surface.
- Unclear Registration Mark: Ensure the mark is clear. If necessary, darken it with a black pen.
-
Print Settings:
- Ensure print settings are configured to Actual Size (100% scale), Borderless Printing, or Fit to Page Margins.
- Incorrect Registration Mark Position: Ensure the paper is properly placed in the printer tray to avoid skewed registration marks.
- NOT for Glossy Paper: Glossy surfaces may hinder the mark reading process. Please use matte paper instead.
Cutting Mat Issues
- Ensure the mat is firmly attached to the machine roller before loading. Assist by holding the mat's ends during loading.
- Bent Mats or Creases: Bent or creased mats may cause poor cutting results or unreadable marks. Please check and adjust.
Firmware Version
Ensure your firmware is up-to-date. Update to V0010 or higher if necessary.
