FAQ

1. What’s the difference between using sublimation and htv on these blanks?
◽ Sublimation works best for light-colored/blend fabrics (like white tees, light tote bags) and hard surfaces (mugs, phone cases). It uses heat to turn ink into gas, embedding designs into the material for a super-soft, permanent finish with vibrant colors. ◽ HTV is ideal for all fabric colors (including dark tees, black hats) and flexible surfaces (canvas totes, fleece). You cut designs from vinyl sheets, weed the excess, and press them onto the blank—they have a slight texture but are durable and work on more fabrics, including thick materials like cotton or polyester blends.
2. What equipment do I need to use these blanks?
◽ For HTV: A cutting machine or scissors, weeding tool, and a heat press machine/iron. No special ink needed—just the vinyl sheets! ◽ For sublimation: A sublimation printer (or regular printer with sublimation ink), sublimation paper, and a heat press machine (an iron can work for small items). You’ll print your design first, then transfer it with heat.
