Print-then-Cut Calibration
Print-then-Cut Calibration allows your device to cut precisely along the printed image. Follow the instructions below to perform Print-then-Cut Calibration on your device.
Steps to Perform Calibration
Step 1
Click "Device" - "Machine Calibration".
Step 2
Select Device - Click "Next" - "Print-then-Cut Function" - "Next".
Step 3
Connect your device via "USB" or "Bluetooth" - Click "Next".
Step 4
Print out the Calibration Chart. If you already have one, click "Next". Align and fix the chart to the top-left corner of the cutting mat (pictured), and load it into the machine. Click "Cut".
Step 5
After cutting on the chart, locate the values where the calibration lines and cutting lines overlap in the four areas. Fill in your offset values and calibrate. Try the print-then-cut function again, and enjoy your design!
Additional Notes
- Multiple calibrations may be needed based on the machine's offset. If multiple calibrations are unsuccessful, try resetting the calibration value and recalibrate.
- To ensure optimal calibration quality, use the same paper size for both calibration and "Print-then-Cut" operations.
- Suggested paper sizes:
- A4 (21.0 x 29.7 cm / 8.27 x 11.69 in)
- Letter (21.59 x 27.94 cm / 8.50 x 11.00 in)
