Design Background and Innovation

Entry Motivation: HTVRONT’s decision to participate in the IDA awards was driven by our profound commitment to innovative design and exceptional user experience. As a brand at the forefront of DIY product and technology breakthroughs, we believe that design is not merely about aesthetic enhancement—it is a vital means to solve real problems and elevate the quality of life for our users. Entering the IDA competition is both a recognition of our team’s tireless efforts and an international validation of our design excellence.

Design Challenges: Throughout the development of the Auto 2, we confronted several challenges:

Balancing Functionality with Aesthetics: Achieving an optimal blend of cutting-edge functionality and modern design.

Precise User Needs Analysis: Capturing the nuanced requirements of a diverse user base.

Sustainable Material Usage: Integrating eco-friendly and sustainable materials without compromising performance.

Our approach involved innovative design language and pioneering material usage, ensuring that every detail was refined through deep consumer insights to overcome these challenges.

Key Design Highlights & Innovations:

Design Inspirations:

Hands-Free Pressure Application: To address uneven manual pressure—especially for users with less physical strength—the Auto 2 integrates an automatic lift mechanism that applies consistent pressure.

Ease of Operation: A pull-push operation panel was designed for effortless handling of pattern carriers.

Customizable Settings: Recognizing that different carriers require unique temperature, time, and pressure settings, we engineered these parameters to be fully adjustable according to user needs.

Technical Breakthroughs:

HTVRONT differentiates itself by pre-setting optimal temperature, time, and pressure values based on user feedback. An NTC thermistor sensor monitors the press plate’s resistance changes and feeds data to an IC chip, which adjusts the voltage to maintain a constant temperature. Furthermore, motorized controls automatically lower and lift the press, streamlining the heat press process and enhancing operational simplicity.

Human-Machine Interaction (HMI) Innovation:

The industry-first adjustable-angle UI display screen is designed for adaptability—accommodating users of different heights, vision requirements, and usage habits. This feature ensures a comfortable viewing angle, reducing neck and eye fatigue while enhancing reading efficiency and overall user comfort.

User Value & Problem-Solving:

Enhanced Pressure Capacity: The second-generation Auto Heat Press increases maximum pressure from 60kg to 80kg, addressing applications that demand higher pressure.

Adjustable Pressure Settings: Featuring 7 distinct pressure levels, it provides precise, visible control that resolves previous concerns over insufficient pressure.

Expanded Carrier Compatibility: The pressable carrier height has been upgraded to 45mm, allowing for a broader range of applications.

Refined Aesthetics: With a smooth, rounded exterior and a warm, home-friendly CMF design, the Auto 2 caters to the aesthetic preferences of home users—especially women—distinguishing it from more industrial-looking competitors.

Product Safety Features:

Safety is paramount, and the Auto 2 includes:

Stable pull-out slide rails to prevent wobbling and reduce burn risks.

A gear box–driven automatic lift mechanism ensuring reliable operation.

Dual side handles for safer and easier mobility.

Dry-burn protection with automatic power cut and alarm functions.

An auto shut-off feature after 15 minutes of inactivity for enhanced user safety.
