We are excited to introduce the new LOKLiK iEngrave. While designing it, we aimed to create an efficient and full-featured machine that helps you cut and engrave photos and complex designs without missing any detail. If you were saving up for an ambitious project that you didn’t want to ruin its quality by using regular engravers, then the LOKLiK iEngrave has come to your rescue. Here is what you need to know about it.
Quick in
A laser engraving machine uses a laser beam to etch designs or cut different materials. Due to this etching method, the design is sharper and more permanent.
To help your projects become safer and with better results, we worked hard to make the LOKLiK iEngrave efficient by adding these new and exciting features.
Safe Cover With all Details Included
The design comes with a well-thought-out transparent Class 1 laser certification cover with ventilation slots and safety locks. The fully enclosed engraving space blocks all the harmful laser beams, the smoke, dust, and debris from escaping, making the engraver safe and more convenient to use.
Over 300 Compatible Materials
You can now engrave and cut more than 300 different materials with the LOKLiK iEngraveTM. You no longer have to limit your creativity to wood and stone slates, as you can now engrave on metal, acrylic, leather, glass, leaves, and more.
Multi-Detection That Offers Full Protection
The LOKLiK iEngraveTM has a multi-alert system for fire, improper temperature, and even tilt. You don’t have to keep your eyes locked on the device to check for mishaps, as the device does that for you, keeping you safe as you do what you love.
Wireless Connection with the Software
You can send your designs wirelessly to the engraver using the companion software, LightBurn, without losing any quality and details.
A Powerful Laser Output
The engraver operates with a 10 W laser output, making it 40% more efficient and capable of faster cutting than ever before. This high speed supports cutting an 8 mm wood in just one pass. It being a diode laser engraver makes it more suitable for non-metal engraving.
500 mm/s Engraving
The optimized algorithm and premium motor power enable the engraver to perform at a working speed of 500 mm every second, making it 200 % more efficient than traditional laser engravers.
High Engraving Precision
The 0.22 mm engraving precision does not leave behind any small details, including animal fur.

What you need to have and how to set up and use the device.
The power adapter
A companion software: LightBurn – you can design to cut or engrave using the basic free version. However, you will need to upgrade to the premium version to use advanced features such as batch processing. A 30-day free trial is available on the official website.
The material to engrave or cut, such as acrylic sheets or wood panels.
Safety googles
Here is how to use the LOKLiK iEngrave machine to engrave.
After unboxing the LOKLiK iEngrave machine, follow the detailed steps in the manual to put the parts together. Check that the laser module, the WIFI module, and the connectors are well fitted into their respective positions, and that the laser height screw is flexible.
Mount the assembled laser cover on the engraving machine to make it safer to operate. You will do this by aligning it with frames and slots on the engraver and securing it with screws, once again, following the user manual.
Assemble the power adapter and plug it into a power source. The power button will light up when the machine is on.
Download and install the LOKLiK or LightBurn software, then set it up following the detailed instructions in the manual. Connect the software to the engraver. On the software, click on “Device” and choose the engraver from the device list.
Import a design from your folders or use the tools in the software to make a pattern from scratch. Then, set up the engraving parameters (name, speed, max power, mode) before sending it to cut or engrave.
Double-check the layering and settings, and ensure it is set for cutting or engraving, whichever you need.
Place the material under the laser module and adjust the laser head height using the knob so that it is accurately focused. Then click the “Frame” button to preview the engraving or cutting path. The laser beam’s path should be within the material border.
Click “Start” to start engraving or cutting.
For quality results, press “Optimal cut path” followed by “Optimization settings”, and then reset it to the default before engraving.
Although the LOKLiK engraver is designed to be safe, it is always a good idea to look out for important precautions when using it.
You should always aim to protect yourself from the high-powered beams that are used to cut and engrave. Always have your protective goggles on when operating the machine. Keep the safety cover on to prevent debris from falling out and to minimize the risk of laser exposure.
Toxic fumes, smoke, and particles are likely to be released during cutting and engraving. Some materials, such as leather, release strong odors when heated. Work close to an open window, or use an exhaust fan or air purifier to help with the air circulation.
Some materials may warp or burn when in contact with a laser beam. Others, such as PVC, are simply not laser safe and may release toxic fumes in the process. Always test the materials first before committing to your entire project. Check for excessive smoking, fumes, discoloration, and melting.
The engraver is surprisingly very quiet, with noise levels lower than 46.5 decibels, which is even lower than a regular conversation. To put this in perspective, a vacuum cleaner has noise levels of about 75 decibels. This makes it the best quiet laser engraver for apartments and learning environments.
The device has a faster air circulation system to help manage smoke and fumes that are generated when it's operational. This ensures that you have a safer and cleaner working environment.
We know that your workspace is precious. Although the engraving machine has a 50 X 53cm compact design that helps you save room in your workspace for other tools and equipment, it has a 300 X300 mm engraving area to accommodate large substrates.
No. The device comes in a pre-assembled framework that does not require any complex assembly for every single use. All you need to do is put the laser cover and machine together immediately after unboxing, following a few steps in the manual.
There are four pre-selected materials for purchase, including wood, acrylic, leather tags, and slate coasters. Other than that, the device supports cutting and engraving over 300 materials, including kraft paper, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, stone, and ceramics.
No. The device operates at under 46.5dB, ensuring that your working environment is quiet, more relaxing, and comfortable. You can even listen to music as the engraving process is ongoing.
We recommend getting an air pump, a honeycomb board, a rotary attachment, and extension legs. The rotary attachment enables a 360-degree rotation to engrave on cylindrical objects, and the extension legs help with adjusting the height for better cutting and engraving flexibility.
No. The engraver is primarily used to cut non-metal materials. Although it can't cut metal, you can use metal marking spray, such as CerMark, to engrave on coated or treated metal like stainless steel.
