Earlier this month, the Workday Rising 2026 show floor in Las Vegas had one corner where something was always coming off a heat press. Our friends at Forager Crafts ran a custom-making activation there — and four HTVRONT Auto Heat Press 2 machines powered every single creation.
Here's how it worked: visitors picked a pattern from a table full of designs — sunny smileys, palm trees, rolling waves, seashells and a few surprises — laid it on a blank canvas tote or a piece of fabric, and let the press do its work at 325°F for about 25 seconds.
When the plate lifted, they walked away with something they had made themselves. No experience needed — one button does the work.
Here is how Victoria Steger, Founder & Creative Director of Forager Crafts, described it: guests dove in right away — picking patches, mixing designs, and pressing their own totes with a single button. Many had only ever seen bulkier clamshell presses before, and were surprised by how refined and easy the Auto Heat Press 2 was to run.
Her favorite detail? Guests kept carrying their freshly made bags around the show floor for the rest of the event — walking proof that making something yourself just feels different.
Forager Crafts is a Los Angeles studio built around hands-on making, and we share the same belief: the best way to fall in love with a craft is to try it yourself.
That is what this partnership is about — Forager brings the creative energy and the community spirit, we bring the machines that make it easy for anyone to join in. This is exactly the kind of experience we want to keep bringing to more communities.
Big thanks to the Forager Crafts team for making this happen — this partnership is just getting started.
