FAQs About Using the LOKLiK App

1. What files does the LOKLiK app support?

You can import both vector and bitmap artwork into the app. It supports SVG, PNG, JPG, BMP, and DXF. For high contrast engraving, it is advisable to use bitmap images. For clean cutting, work with vector files.

2. Is it possible to use the LOKLiK App offline?

Yes, you can use the app’s main functions, such as opening and saving projects, creating and editing designs, and running jobs to connected laser engraving machines using USB cables, while offline. However, features such as downloading projects and updates from the internet, using AI, and syncing projects all require an internet connection.

3. Do I need to pay for the designs on the Discover page?

The page has both free and premium designs. The free designs are marked with a “Free” label. You need to purchase the premium designs or upgrade your account by purchasing a subscription from the app.

4. How can I sync my designs between two devices?

Syncing has to be done online. Start by saving your project in the cloud, rather than in a local folder. On the second device, open the library and look for the cloud projects section. Download and open the synced folder. Any changes made are accessible on both devices.

5. Why am I unable to preview my work before sending it to the laser engraver?

It is either because you have not assigned any operation to the project, are using an unsupported file format or elements, your file is corrupt or incompatible, or all your layers are hidden or locked.
