After startup, the machine automatically enters the main interface — the screen you'll spend the most time in as an E15 owner. Understanding what each section of this screen does, and where each control lives, is the single biggest shortcut to becoming productive on the machine. Instead of hunting for a button in the middle of a project, you'll know exactly where to tap.

Status Bar
First, let's take a look at the Status Bar. This section at the top of the screen gives you an at-a-glance view of the machine's connection and system status. Each icon communicates a specific piece of information — knowing what each one means lets you spot problems immediately.
Control Cable Connection Status
This icon indicates the control cable connection status. If it shows an error, check the connection.
Network Connection Status
This icon shows the current network connection status. Tap it to set up wired or wireless network connections.
Main Shaft Home Position & System Time
This icon indicates that the main shaft is at the home position. Tap it to return the main shaft to the home position if needed. The adjacent area displays the current system time — tap it to adjust the time.
USB Drive Detection
This icon indicates that a USB drive is connected. If the icon is missing, no USB drive is detected.
Design Preview Area
Next is the Design Preview Area. This section displays the current design, its name, and its size — a quick visual reference so you always know which design is loaded and how much space it will occupy on the fabric.
Design Information Area
The Design Information Area is where you'll check most of the design details before starting a project. It groups together time estimates, stitch data, hoop information, color settings, and offset values — giving you a complete picture of how the design will be stitched.
Estimated Remaining Embroidery Time
This icon shows the estimated remaining embroidery time.
Total Stitch Count
This icon shows the total stitch count for the design.
Selected Hoop
This icon shows the selected hoop name and size.
Color Sequence
This icon shows the color sequence of the design. Tap it to enter Color Setup.
Color Change Mode
This icon allows you to change the color change mode in Color Setup. See the Color Setup Function section below for the full list of available modes.
Selected Needle Bar
This icon shows the currently selected needle bar.
X / Y Hoop Offset
The X and Y values show the hoop offset from the reference point in millimeters.
Reset Reference Point
Tap Reset to set the current position as a new reference point and reset X/Y values to zero.
Note: Reset only clears the X/Y reference point. It does not move the hoop, change the design position, or reset machine origin.
Function Controls
The Function Controls are the production tools you'll use most often. This section contains everything you need to select a design, set up the hoop, manage colors, edit the pattern, run a trace, find the origin, and control the stitching flow.
Pattern Selection Screen
Tap this icon to open the Pattern Selection Screen.
Tap this icon to switch between Single Select and Multi Select modes.
Single Select Mode: Select one design at a time — typically for the current embroidery project. Multi Select Mode: Select multiple designs at once for batch deletion, processing, or output.
Tap this icon to search for a design by name or number.
Tap this icon to delete the selected design from memory.
Double-tap the design preview to access more design settings. For more details and important notes, please refer to the user manual.
After selecting a design, tap this icon to zoom the design in or out, move it, or preview the stitching path.
Select two or more designs, then tap Combine Designs to enter the combination editor.
In the combination editor, use the arrow keys to move the selected sub-design. You can also resize, delete, edit, and confirm to complete the combined design.
Tap this icon to sort designs in ascending or descending order. Designs can be sorted by number, name, color count, total stitches, X width, or Y width.
Lettering Function
Tap this icon to open the Lettering function. Enter the text, characters, or numbers you want to embroider, then select the font and adjust the character height.
In the Text Layout screen, use the buttons below to adjust the text arrangement. After completing the layout, tap ☑️ to confirm. The system will open the Save dialog and automatically assign the smallest available design number and a default design name.
After saving, you can find the lettering design in the design memory.
Graffiti Function
Tap this icon to open the Graffiti function.
Set the canvas size and stitch density, then tap ☑️ to confirm and enter the drawing screen. After editing, save the design — the system will automatically assign the lowest available design number and name the design P-DOODLING by default.

USB Import Function
Tap this icon to open the USB import function.
Tap this icon to delete the selected folder or design file.
Tap this icon to view the current USB directory path.
Tap the picture to preview files or designs.
Tap Create New to create a new folder in the current USB directory.
Tap this icon to return to the parent directory.
Tap this icon to select all designs or folders on the current page.
Tap this icon to view detailed information of the selected design.
Tap this icon to import designs from the USB drive to the machine memory.
Tap this icon to access more design management settings. Memory Design Management allows you to view, select, copy, delete, edit, split, export, and manage designs stored in the machine memory.
Frame Select Function
Tap this icon to open the Frame Select function.
The machine comes with 7 built-in hoop types that match the included hoops.
Tap Custom Frame, then tap + to add, edit, or select custom hoops.
You can enter the hoop settings here and upload a reference image for a new hoop.
Tap this icon to view the hoop parameter table.
Tap this icon to restore the selected hoop type to default settings.
Color Setup Function
Tap this icon to open the Color Setup function.
Here, you can view the color sequence and the needle bar number assigned to each color. Tap a color block to change the color assigned to a needle bar.
Tap this icon to switch the color change mode.
Color Change Mode options:
A/A — Auto Color Change & Auto Start
A/M — Auto Color Change & Manual Start
M/M — Manual Color Change & Manual Start
Use this setting to adjust the default thread color displayed for each needle bar.
Use this setting to configure appliqué color sequence or stop points.
Copy the current needle bar settings to the previous color sequence.
Pattern Edit Function
Tap this icon to open the Pattern Edit function.
Before embroidery, you can adjust the design size, direction, rotation angle, mirror, and repeat layout.
Pattern Trace Function
Tap this icon to open the Pattern Trace function.
Two tracing methods are available:
Perimeter Trace: Traces the actual shape of the design.
Outline Trace: Traces the outer boundary of the design area.
Pattern Origin Function
Tap this icon to open the Pattern Origin function.
Tap this icon to move the hoop to the design stop point.
Tap this icon to return the hoop to the design start point.
Tap this icon to perform machine origin detection.
Tap this icon to save the current hoop position as the design start point.
Tap this icon to return to the previously saved start point.
Tap this icon to automatically find a suitable start point for the design.
Float Action Function
Tap this icon to open the Float Action function.
From this screen, you can:
Move forward or backward continuously at the set speed.
Move forward or backward by the selected number of stitches.
Jump forward or backward according to the design color sequence.
Enter a target stitch number for quick navigation.
Frame Out Function
Tap this icon to open the Frame Out function.
Note: Use this function for appliqué placement, design checks, thread trimming, and fabric handling. When the machine is stopped, this function automatically moves the hoop to a convenient position for operation.
Thread Cutting Function
Tap this icon to open the Thread Cutting function.
System & Auxiliary Controls
Next, let's move on to the System & Auxiliary Controls. These are the machine-level settings you'll use less often — but they're still important for maintenance, safety, and precise control of the stitching process.
Settings Screen
First, tap the Settings icon to enter the Settings screen.
In Settings, you can view machine information, adjust user parameters, change the language, view logs, perform machine debugging, and access professional parameters.
Light Switch
Tap this icon to turn the work light on or off.
Spindle Reset
Tap this icon to access the Main Shaft Angle settings.
Tap this icon to rotate the main shaft at low speed and stop at the standard stop position.
Note: This function is used to temporarily hold the current stitch point during fabric changes or re-hooping.
Tap this icon to rotate the main shaft at low speed and move the needle bar to the down position.
⚠️ Warning: Do not pull fabric or move the hoop while the needle is down.
Needle Swap
Tap this icon to enter the Needle Bar Position screen.
Here, you can view or select the current needle position for color changes, needle checks, or maintenance operations.
Embroidery Confirmation
Finally, let's look at the Embroidery Confirmation. This is the last step before stitching begins — the moment where you verify that everything is set up correctly.
Tap Ready to switch the machine to embroidery confirmation mode.
After confirming the design, hoop, colors, position, and embroidery area, press Start at the bottom of the touchscreen to begin embroidery.

What do the three color change modes (A/A, A/M, M/M) mean?

A/M — Auto Color Change & Manual Start: The machine changes colors automatically but waits for you to press Start before continuing. What's the difference between Perimeter Trace and Outline Trace?
Perimeter Trace follows the actual shape of the design — every curve, angle, and path the needle will take. Outline Trace follows only the outer boundary of the design area, tracing a rectangle around the design rather than the design itself. Use Perimeter Trace when you want to verify exactly how the design will be stitched; use Outline Trace when you just need to confirm the design fits within the hoop without hitting the frame.
When should I use the Pattern Origin function?
The Pattern Origin function is useful any time you need to control or verify the needle's starting position. Common use cases include: returning the hoop to a known start point after an interruption, finding a suitable start point automatically for a new design, saving the current hoop position as a new start point for repeated projects, and performing machine origin detection for troubleshooting. If you're doing production runs of the same design, saving a start point speeds up your workflow considerably.
What is the Frame Out function used for?
Frame Out moves the hoop forward to a convenient position when the machine is stopped. This is primarily used for appliqué placement (positioning fabric that needs to be stitched down), design checks (inspecting the stitch-out without removing the hoop), thread trimming (cutting jump threads cleanly), and general fabric handling. Instead of reaching awkwardly into the stitching area, you press Frame Out and the hoop slides forward — then press it again to return the hoop to its working position.
