Welcome to the HTVRONT E15 daily cleaning and maintenance tutorial. Proper cleaning, inspection, and lubrication can help reduce thread breaks, skipped stitches, thread tangles, trimming issues, design misalignment, and unexpected machine stops.
A few minutes of routine care after each embroidery session goes a long way toward keeping your embroidery machine running smoothly — and it protects the investment you’ve made in your setup. In this tutorial, we’ll cover:
Now, let’s begin with Part 1: Safety Preparation. Before you begin, prepare a soft cleaning brush, a soft, dry, lint-free cloth, and embroidery machine oil.
Always use sewing machine oil, also known as white oil or ISO VG 18 lubricating oil. Do not substitute it with other types of oil.
Warning: Before cleaning, inspecting, or lubricating the machine, always turn off the power. Make sure the needle bars, main shaft, embroidery frame, and trimming mechanism have completely stopped before continuing.
Never remove parts, clean the machine, or reach into moving areas while the machine is powered on or running.
Frequency: Before every use.
Check each needle for bending, wear, looseness, or burrs on the needle tip or shaft.
Gently confirm that each needle is securely installed. A bent, worn, or damaged needle may cause thread breaks, skipped stitches, design misalignment, or fabric damage.
If a needle appears damaged, stop using it and replace it before embroidering.
Frequency: After hooping and before embroidery.
Make sure the hoop is properly installed and securely locked onto the machine. Check that the fabric and stabilizer are flat, with no folds, curled edges, or noticeable wrinkles. The fabric should be evenly tensioned but not overstretched. Loose fabric may cause shifting, puckering, or design misalignment, while excessive tension may distort the fabric.
Frequency: Inspect and clean the bobbin case every time you replace the bobbin. Clean and lubricate the rotary hook area at the end of each day or after 4 to 6 hours of continuous operation.
Open the bobbin compartment, and remove the bobbin case and bobbin.
Use a soft brush to remove lint and dust from inside the bobbin case.
Around the tension spring and near the thread outlet, pay special attention to any lint trapped underneath the tension spring.
Gently slide a small piece of clean, thin paper underneath the spring to remove any remaining lint and help maintain smooth bobbin tension and thread feeding.
Inspect the bobbin case surface, latch, tension spring, and thread outlet for visible wear, burrs, dents, or scratches.
After cleaning, apply embroidery machine oil to the designated lubrication point along the inner wall of the rotary hook.
Tip: Use a spray bottle for easier oil application.
Press the oil bottle twice. Do not apply too much oil. Wipe away any excess oil after lubrication.
Finally, reinstall the bobbin and bobbin case. Make sure the bobbin is installed in the correct direction. Gently pull the bobbin thread to confirm that it feeds smoothly without sticking, knotting, or unusual resistance.
Note: If the bobbin case or rotary hook is visibly damaged, stop using the machine and contact HTVRONT customer support (support@htvront.com).
Frequency: Clean as needed.
Gently wipe the screen with a soft, dry cloth. Do not spray water or cleaning solution directly onto the screen. Do not use alcohol, organic solvents, or corrosive liquids on the screen. Avoid pressing too hard while cleaning.
Wipe the outside of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. Light dirt can be removed with the dry cloth alone.
Note: Keep screws and loose threads out of the Y-axis drive area.
For heavier stains, use a well-wrung cloth lightly dampened with a small amount of neutral cleaner. After cleaning, immediately dry the surface with a clean cloth.
The following components require professional service:
Do not disassemble, adjust, or repair internal components yourself. For persistent noise, repeated stops, or color-change issues, contact HTVRONT Support or a qualified technician.
Daily cleaning and maintenance are now complete.
If you prefer to follow along visually, the video below walks through the same process — from safety preparation and needle inspection to bobbin case cleaning and rotary hook lubrication. You can watch it before you start or use it alongside the steps above.
You’ve now completed the daily cleaning and maintenance routine for the E15 Embroidery Machine. By inspecting needles before every use, checking the hoop and fabric, cleaning the bobbin case with each bobbin change, and lubricating the rotary hook after every 4 to 6 hours of use, you’ll keep your machine running smoothly and reduce common embroidery problems like thread breaks, skipped stitches, and design misalignment.
Remember: always power off the machine before cleaning or lubricating, use only sewing machine oil, and leave internal components to qualified technicians. If you notice persistent noise, repeated stops, or color-change issues, contact HTVRONT Support at support@htvront.com.

No. The electrical system, motor, encoder, synchronization system, limit sensors, and main shaft / color-change mechanism require professional service. Common causes include a bent, worn, or damaged needle; lint buildup in the bobbin case or under the tension spring; fabric that isn’t hooped tightly enough; or a rotary hook that needs cleaning and lubrication. Follow the daily maintenance steps in this guide, and replace any needle that appears damaged.
